The Christian Response to Pride Month

Show Notes:

The month of June is here and with it comes a lot of noise, thoughts, and opinions about Pride Month. As we tackle issues of sex and sexuality from a biblical perspective, so many people ask, “What should the Christian response to Pride Month actually look like?”

Some think we should boycott every store with a rainbow flag on display, others think we should just love and accept everyone, and some are wondering why we’re even asking the question. So let’s talk about it.

This week on the podcast, we’re joined by Elizabeth Woning, a once-gay pastor, who went to seminary openly gay and then encountered God and left the lifestyle. She shares with us insights on the LGBTQ experience, how the LGBTQ community has changed through the years, and how we can love and hold a boundary. We hope this episode brings clarity to a topic that can feel confusing or daunting.
