Cole Zick is passionate about bringing the church together to thrive in all areas of life. Along with his wife Caitlin, he served as the director of Moral Revolution in Redding, California, for six years before transitioning to Senior Pastors of Risen King Community Church. With over 15 years of marriage and ministry experience, they openly share their journey, including the early challenges of sex in marriage, to spark healthy conversations and help others find freedom. Together, they also managed to welcome four children in five years, embracing the joyful chaos of family life.

My Eight-Year-Old And Pornography

As a parent, the thought of talking about sex with our kids can be overwhelming and cause quite a bit of anxiety. Depending on our own experiences and knowledge, we may not feel qualified to discuss the topic. If sexual issues were a part of our past, or continue to be a current struggle, shame can freeze us in our tracks. If we do muster the strength to broach the topic, it is often much later in their life than it should be. When it comes to talking about sex, the only “unfixable” mistake a parent can make - is to not talk about it.
