Chris McKenna
Chris McKenna founded Protect Young Eyes while leading a large student ministry and witnessing the impact of technology on tweens and teens. Prior to ministry, he spent 12 years consulting at Ernst & Young. His 2019 testimony to the US Senate Judiciary Committee spurred federal child protection laws and earned PYE the Dignity Defense Alert Award in 2020. Now a technical expert for major tech companies, Chris shares his parental control insights with families. He has authored several books, including Parenting the Internet Generation and Exposed: Breaking the Silence of Porn. The PYE team conducts hundreds of presentations annually, receives over a million website visits, and was featured in Childhood 2.0. Chris is also the Digital Marketing Director at Covenant Eyes, enjoys family road trips, nature, running, and candy, and is the father of four.
