Chapter 1 The Parable of the Ring

"As Johnny rounded Destiny Lane, the glare of the ring in the jewelry store window momentarily blinded him again, but he was late and had no time to stop and investigate. Yet, strangely enough, although the silhouette of the ring faded from his eyes, its image lingered in his imagination. How weird, he thought. It's like a song that you can't get out of your brain."

"There is was, finally, glistening under the showcase lights like a star shining against the black of night. It seemed to glow with a crystal brilliance, beckoning its admirers to look deeper and come closer. Johnny stared deeply in the the diamond, and suddenly an image appeared...there she was...the woman of his dreams! She seemed to emerge from the ring like a genie from a bottle. Johnny blinked in disbelief. He suddenly felt intensely alive; every cell in his body vibrated with expectation. He was mesmerized. She was more beautiful than he had ever imagined, or was he imagining her now? It was all so confusing because she seemed so real. He felt like he could reach out and touch her, and unconsciously he did so, reaching in fact for the ring in the salesman's hand."

Chapter 2 From the Battlefield to the Bedroom

"Anyone can give away something expensive, but only those who understand sacrifice can give away something valuable"

"Your virginity is a treasure hidden in the vault of your life, protected by the helmet of your virtues, values, and principles"

"The treasure is actually valued according to the warfare it takes to get it from the battlefield to the honeymoon suite."

The strategy changes, but the battle remains as you fight to keep your affections unpolluted and unspoiled for the woman or man of your dreams in the midst of the cesspool of a dark world that has exchanged love for lust."

Chapter 3 The Great Escape

"The fact of the matter is that the war over your virginity is so strong that you are going to have to have a vision for your purity to win. I mean, you must decide that you want to be a virgin before you start searching for the man or woman of your dreams. You just can't wait until the windows of the car are steamed up to decide who you are going to be."

"It is vitally important that we answer the question, "Who am I?" before getting into a romantic relationship with someone. Otherwise, the relationship will be codependent instead of interdependent."

Chapter 4 Rules of War

"You remember what it was like. One day you were riding your pony down Destiny Lane, minding your own business, and then, BAM! You hit puberty. WOW! Suddenly you were knocked off that pony and thrown onto the back of a wild stallion. A whole new world appeared before your eyes, and you started feeling things that seemed completely irrational, scary, and exciting all at the same time. It was all so weird and hard to understand - the attraction, the passion, the burning desire to be together, and the raging sex drive! When our bodies start changing without our permission and we start having thoughts and desires that we'd never imagined before, it's hard enough to grasp what's going on, much less to know how we're supposed to feel about it all. Should we feel guilty or ashamed, or is this all normal?"

"Someone once said, "The problem with life is that it is so daily." I agree! Many of us have great ideas about life, about what it should be like and how we can become successful at it. But for most of us, the struggle lies in daily walking out our convictions - especially when it comes to thinking in such a way that our minds don't violate our hearts. Ultimately, true success lies in your ability to manage your inner life, the secret kingdom that lives within you. It is really impossible to control your behavior long-term unless you master your thoughts and subject them to the virtues that you have chosen to live by."

You can always tell when the evil fortress is completed by the fact that you begin to defend your right to behave in a way that contradicts your core convictions."

Chapter 5 The Pursuit

"From the beginning of time, mankind has laid life and limb on the line in hopes of having just one chance at love’s pursuit. For deep in the heart of every man lies a burning desire to be like Prince Phillip, who pierced the heart of the sullen dragon with his mighty sword and awakened a Sleeping Beauty with a hero’s kiss. In the same light, every woman has inside of her a secret longing to be won over by a knight in shining armor and carried away to a land of unending romance and fulfilled desire.

Walt Disney has done an amazing job of capturing the desires of humanity, each one in its own light, but noticeably absent from Disney’s fairytale is all the hard work that goes into creating a happy ending. We are no longer in the medieval days where dragons roam the earth looking for a princess to capture, and a knight’s valor that could win a damsel’s heart. Unlike the days of knights and princesses, respect and honor have given way to “freedom of choice,” where the loudest voice of education has come from the mouths of our broken media. This has resulted in intense confusion as our head is taught one thing but our heart desperately yearns for another..."

Chapter 6 Inciting a Sexual Revolution

"It is time to incite a true sexual revolution by discovering, protecting, and displaying the pure power and beauty of sex within covenant. The hour has come for us to wake up and realize that all of these broken covenants are destroying an entire generation. Someone once said that if you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. It is time to take a stand, to win the prize, to bring home the trophy - the trophy of covenant love, supernatural marriage, and a healthy family."

Chapter 7 Divine Romance

"[Adam] was alone because there was a relational void in his heart because God had fashioned him in His image. God is, in Himself, a relationship, an intimate exchange of love and friendship. Unlike everything else in His creation, He made mankind to relate both to Himself and to one another in this loving relationship...So God solved Adam's loneliness by putting him to sleep and breaking him apart. From then on, Adam would relate to his wife in the same way he related to God because she completed him in the same way that God did."

Chapter 8 Holy Affection or Fatal Attraction

"In most of the world, the line between sex and love has become so blurred that people speak of them as if they were the same thing. There is a huge difference between making love and "screwing" someone. Sex is not directly related to love on any level. As a matter of fact, saying that sex is love is like saying that because you flew in a plane you're an astronaut."

"We must reverse this wave of perversion and move into a culture that is motivated by real love...We must contend for righteous hearts so that we can see our broken, perverted, and abused culture restored and reformed."

Chapter 9 On the Eve of Destruction

"More children have died at the hands of abortion doctors in this country since Roe v. Wade than have died in all the wars put together in American history. And the 90-billion-dollar questions is: Why?"

"Abortion is a violation of the supernatural laws of the spirit. When you take the life of your unborn child, you invite all kinds of devastation into your heart that can't necessarily be explained in words but that will very much be experienced. This often results in symptoms like sickness, depression, fatigue, and a host of other negative conditions that are actually signs of a spiritual storm inside of you. If you don't believe me, do a little research into the post-abortion conditions of most women. Prepare yourself because what you learn may shock you. You will find yourself wondering why they didn't tell you about this at the abortion clinic."

Chapter 10 Grace

"You can never fall so far that you can't be restored."

"There is nothing that you could ever do that could keep you from God's love and forgiveness. There is no life so dark, no sin so shocking, no attitude so bad, no sex so perverted, no relationship so appalling, no pit so deep, no sickness so dreadful that it can't be redeemed by God. He specializes in the impossible! It's time for you to dream again!"
